Your First Office Visit
We know visiting the dentist can be nerve racking, but at Smiles of Moorpark we roll out the red carpet for each of our patients. Here’s what you can expect during your first visit.

We get it, going to the dentist can be a little nerve-wracking. That’s why we do everything we can to make you feel calm, cared for, and completely at ease from the moment you walk in.
Stress-free environment
Our team is here to make your visit as easy and stress-free as possible. We’re all about friendly faces, gentle care, and a space where you feel totally relaxed.
Gentle dental cleaning
At your first visit, we’ll review your health history, take X-rays, give your teeth a gentle cleaning, and check for any signs of cavities or gum issues.
Meeting with Doctor
Once your cleaning is done, your doctor will walk you through the results, answer any questions you have, and help plan any next steps, no pressure, just a friendly conversation.
Insurance & personal info
If you choose to complete your new patient registration online, you won’t need to bring anything to the office. We will email or text you your forms once your appointment is booked! You can always do this step in-office too!
Plan additional visits
A visit every six months keeps your teeth in great shape and helps catch small problems before they turn into big ones. Most appointments take 45–90 minutes.
